On Friday, December 3, 1999, the 19 staff photographers of the Columbia Missourian spread out across the state to take pictures in the various towns along Route 66 in Missouri. I spent my day in Bourbon, Missouri, where Route 66 serves as the main road of the town. On the edge of town, Route 66 (on the left) runs next to the busy interstate.
